Scheduler Interpreter Services

Clerical/Administrative Support Req #: 76454 Summary The Scheduler for Interpreter Services triages needs and books/schedules interpreter services across MaineHealth. They monitor procedure room schedules to maximize utilization and efficient patient flow, answer basic information questions about Interpreter & Translation Services, and provide general customer support on behalf of the department. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) Education: A high school diploma is preferred; two to five years of experience in a health care setting is desirable but not required. License/Certifications: N/A Experience: Experience in Interpreter Services field and medical practices and procedures preferred. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: Skill in coordinating schedules with multiple variables is required. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Windows applications. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Familiarity with EMR, Intranet, and other platforms used within a healthcare environment.
