Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-risk perinatal nursing care in a Level III Labor and Delivery unit with 19 L&D beds, 10 antepartum beds, 30 postpartum beds, 3 ORs, 2 PACU bays, and a 7-bay triage area
• Maintain staffing ratios of 1:1 in active labor, 1:2–3 in antepartum, and 1:3 couplets in postpartum with CNA support
• Participate in triage care as part of a skilled RN team covering each shift
• Float to Postpartum as needed to support unit staffing requirements
• Perform and document sterile vaginal exams (SVE) as a required clinical skill
• Chart accurately and efficiently using EPIC electronic health records

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery RN experience
• Valid RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring or Relias Fetal Monitoring
• Demonstrated ability to perform sterile vaginal exams (SVE) — hard requirement
• Willingness to work weekends and commit to 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Must submit all requested time off at the time of initial submittal; post-offer RTO requests may not be granted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a facility managing 200 or more deliveries per month; candidates with experience in facilities handling 100–200 deliveries will also be considered
• Familiarity with high-risk perinatal care environments including antepartum and postpartum settings
• Prior experience working alongside surgical technicians, CRNAs, and multidisciplinary perinatal teams
