Oncology Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Oncology Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 10.5 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN Certifications: Must-Have: BLS Description: We are committed to positive impact and to you. The hospital has a Magnet Designation, recognizing nursing excellence standards. It serves as a referral center for various critical care services. The facility is equipped for advanced surgical procedures. This role is within a unit that serves a specific patient population with oncology needs. The unit has 24 beds and a dedicated team of staff. Typical patient ratios range from 1:4 to 1:5. The electronic medical record system used is Cerner. Candidates must hold a valid RN license and BLS certification. A background in chemotherapy administration is preferred. Team players who are eager to learn will thrive in this environment. Dress code requires navy, white, or a combination of both colors for nurses. Weekend work may be required, with a minimum of six weekend shifts included in the schedule.
