Health Clerk-Patient Care Assistant (PCA) - Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU)

Pay Range: $17.00 - $23.80 A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education. HSHS St Vincent’s Hospital is seeking a Health Clerk/Patient Care Assistant in our NICU. This position performs patient care under the direction of a registered nurse. Provides care for patients according to the standards of care. Facilitates patient and clerical activities on a unit, documentation, communication of information necessary for patient care, system management, chart assembly and analysis, customer service/public relations activities related to patient care and unit operations. Position Specifics: o Department: Neonatal ICU o Core Function: Nursing Support o Schedule: Full and Part Time positions available. Days/PMs, weekend rotation o Facility: St. Vincent’s Hospital o Location: Green Bay, WI Education Qualifications High School Diploma or GED is preferred. Experience Qualifications 1 year of experience in acute care setting is preferred. Certifications, Licenses and Registrations BLS (Basic Life Support) is required within 30 days upon hire. CNA (Certified Nurse Assistant) or PCT (Patient Care Technician) certification in state of practice is preferred.
