About the Role:

The Forklift Operator plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe movement of boats within a dry stack marina. As a dry stack marina Forklift Operator, you will play a vital role in delivering an exceptional customer experience by safely and efficiently launching, retrieving, and storing customer vessels. This position is responsible for operating specialized marine forklifts, maintaining a clean and organized marina, and ensuring every boat is handled with the highest level of care.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid forklift operator certification or license as required by state regulations.
• Proven experience operating forklifts and other Marina equipment safely.
• Basic understanding of Marina operations.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience operating multiple types of Marina forklifts.
• Previous experience in a fast-paced marina
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and warehouse best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts in a marina dry stack
• Load and unload boats from the water to the dry stack.
• Inspect equipment daily to ensure it is in safe working condition and report any maintenance needs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
• Assist with general warehouse duties including inventory management and order preparation.
• Follow all safety guidelines and company policies to minimize risk and ensure compliance.
