Procurement Planner

We are seeking a Procurement Planner to partner closely with suppliers, planning, and production teams to support an automation-focused manufacturing operation.ResponsibilitiesManage consigned inventory programs, including reconciliation, usage tracking, and inventory accuracy Execute and maintain purchase orders for electronic components in alignment with MRP-driven demand Monitor vendor sales orders and acknowledgements to ensure material availability and on-time delivery Track open orders, lead times, and delivery schedules; proactively address shortages or delays Coordinate with suppliers to resolve quantity discrepancies, delivery issues, and inventory variances Maintain accurate item, pricing, and supplier data within ERP/MRP systems Support production and planning teams by ensuring materials are available to meet build schedules Participate in inventory cycle counts, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives Generate and analyze reports related to inventory levels, vendor performance, and material availability QualificationsExperience in procurement, materials planning, or supply chain within a manufacturing or automation environment Strong knowledge of electronic components and supplier-managed or consignment inventory models Hands-on experience with purchase order management and vendor coordination Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel High attention to detail with strong analytical and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment Strong communication skills for cross-functional and supplier interaction Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
