• Pay Rate: $77.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Night (3x12 Hours), 19:00-7:30

Job Summary

This is a Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) travel nursing assignment at an Acute Hospital in Anchorage, AK. The facility is a Magnet Facility , Level II Trauma Center, and USNWR Best Hospital in Alaska, with 407 total staffed beds.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver ICU-level nursing care within the MICU in accordance with facility protocols and scope of practice
• Float to like units within scope as needed to meet facility staffing needs
• Adhere to weekend requirements as part of the standard schedule
• Document patient care using Epic electronic health records system

Required Skills

• ICU / MICU clinical nursing skills per unit-defined (UD) requirements
• Proficiency with Epic charting
• Ability to float to like units within scope of practice
• Weekend availability required

Education Requirements

• AK RN License required (must be in hand for Auto Offer; pending license accepted for submittal)
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers not accepted

Important Notes

• Locals not accepted - candidate's permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility
• Pending license accepted for submittal, but AK RN license must be in hand for Auto Offer
• All requested time off (RTO) must be included at time of submittal; time off is approved on an individual basis upon offer
• COVID-19 vaccination: Not required
