Summer Intern - Quality Systems & Business Processes

PTC Therapeutics seeks a Senior Manager for Field Operations and Analytics to optimize field team performance and commercial effectiveness. The role encompasses incentive compensation management, field deployment strategy, CRM oversight, and data-driven analytics to support sales performance and business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead incentive compensation planning, design, goal setting, reporting, and payout administration activities
• Manage field deployment, sizing, territory alignment, and structure to optimize commercial team placement and performance
• Oversee CRM enhancements and system improvements including configuration analysis, testing, and user acceptance testing coordination
• Conduct quarterly alignment activities, impact analysis, and communicate changes to cross-functional partners
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for business operations solutions and data governance across systems

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business or scientific discipline plus 6+ years commercial operations or analytics experience in pharma/biotech
• 3-5+ years field operations experience including deployment, targeting, alignment, incentive compensation, and Veeva CRM
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business intelligence tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, or Qlik Sense
• Strong analytical and statistical expertise with ability to translate business problems into data-driven solutions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders in matrixed environments
• Strong problem-solving skills with adaptability to changing priorities and multiple competing projects
