Carilion Clinic is seeking a highly qualified part-time Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) Physician to join their dedicated division in Roanoke, Virginia. This academic role, affiliated with the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine, offers a dynamic and collaborative environment for a physician passionate about clinical excellence, teaching, and research. The MFM Physician will provide specialized care for high-risk pregnancies and contribute to shaping the next generation of physicians.Practice InfoPractice is located on a newly renovated spacious floor within Carilion Roanoke Community Hospital, conveniently located to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital and Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine.The practice consists of two experienced MFM physicians, two genetic counselors, two ultrasound techs, two RN's, a medical assistant and clerical support staff.A designated RN serves as a nurse navigator facilitating communication with referring providers and rounding with the MFM physician.Carilion Clinic has its own OBGYN residency program, offering robust teaching and research opportunities.Access to advanced resources, including ultrasound equipment and a Level III NICU.ResponsibilitiesProvide specialized maternal and fetal care for high-risk pregnancies in the outpatient setting.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including OBGYNs, neonatologists, and other specialists, to ensure comprehensive care.Participate in the teaching and mentorship of OBGYN residents and medical students.Engage in clinical research opportunities to advance the field of maternal-fetal medicine.Perform and interpret advanced fetal imaging, including ultrasound and invasive fetal diagnostic procedures.Contribute to continuous quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.CompensationMin Starting Salary: $282,000.Max Starting Salary: $390,000.Eligible to participate in the Tier 1 and Tier 2 bonus compensation programs.Incentive Pay: Yes.Signing Bonus: Yes.Student Loan Forgiveness: Negotiable.Relocation Paid: Yes.BenefitsComprehensive benefits and pension offerings.Vacation: Yes.CME: Yes, allowance + paid days off.Health/Vision/Dental.Life/Disability.Paid Malpractice & Tail.Pension Plan.403-B Savings Plan.Shift & SchedulePart-Time.Call Coverage: 1:4, In-house coverage provided by OB/GYN Generalists Faculty.RequirementsHighly qualified Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) Physician.H1B visa sponsorship available.
