Physician - Psychiatrist - Multiple Locations - Behavioral Health

Job Description El Rio Health seeks Psychiatrists to join our outpatient/inpatient team providing care for El Rio patients at 15 locations and partnered hospitals in Tucson, AZ. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive medical care to clinic patients efficiently and cost‑effectively. Deliver high quality diagnosis and treatment of disease, promote health, prevent disease. Provide physical and emotional support to patients and families. Engage in medical care delivery in collaboration with budgeting, staffing, quality functions. Exercise independent judgment in all essential functions at assigned locations. Maintain compliance with licensure, code of conduct, and regulatory requirements. Perform all duties and assignments assigned within the El Rio organization. Qualifications & Requirements Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy or equivalent degree from an accredited medical institution. Successful completion of an accredited residency program. Board‑eligible or board‑certified in psychiatry. Active, unencumbered Arizona state medical license with prescriptive authority. Current DEA license for prescribing controlled substances. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Compliance with all licensure, code of conduct, and training requirements. Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license. Experience in primary care and diagnostic services in a behavioral health setting. Experience prescribing medications and collaborating with specialists.
