Associate Quality Inspector

Job Overview Associate Quality Inspector at Boeing Distribution, Inc. – Boeing Global Services (BGS), Distribution Business. Location: Hialeah, FL. Responsibilities Verify routine product conformance to design requirements. Provide objective evidence of results. Segregate and control non-conforming items. Perform preliminary review and disposition of non-conformance. Under limited supervision, inspect incoming parts/material, outgoing orders, verify correct certification, check parts for processing, check special orders. Use micrometers, gauge controls, calipers, indicators, etc. on a daily basis. Provide mentorship to the inspection team. Conduct dimensional inspections per design record and documented AQL levels. Conduct visual inspections for obvious defects. Review and disposition all certification documentation to meet traceability requirements per AS9100 and company quality standards; communicate with vendor as needed. Disposition and control of on-conforming products. Basic Qualifications 2+ years of related work experience using calipers, ring/pin gauges, etc. 2+ years of experience in QA inspection methods and procedures, reading and interpreting drawings or blueprints. Experience working with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel). Pass a documented color and near vision exam. Preferred Qualifications Previous aerospace inspection experience. Knowledge of AS9100 requirements. Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities. Conflict of Interest compliance. Compliance and Requirements Export Control Requirements: This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. A “U.S. Person” (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) is required. Benefits & Pay Competitive base pay and variable compensation opportunities. Pay range: $41,000 – $58,000.
