Advanced DRAM Process Integration Engineer

This role is a place for curiosity and experimentation, focused on transforming novel concepts into data-driven solutions within our advanced R&D environment. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to enable future scaling and performance improvements that make breakthroughs in artificial intelligence possible.ResponsibilitiesIdentify and evaluate novel device concepts and material systems to support upcoming scaling and performance improvements.Apply a deep understanding of semiconductor device physics and first-principles analysis to guide design trade-offs.Lead technology integration activities, aligning device concepts and process flows into cohesive, actionable solutions.Design and manage experiments in the R&D fab to optimize device performance and manufacturability.Analyze inline, parametric, and probe data to evaluate operating mechanisms and sources of variability.Partner with process development, modeling, and design teams to communicate complex technical findings and trade-offs.Minimum QualificationsPhD or MS in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Applied Physics, or a related field.5+ years of relevant industry experience.Strong foundation in semiconductor device physics and process integration.Demonstrated record of innovation through patents, publications, or product-relevant solutions.Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience with advanced semiconductor nodes or non-conventional device architectures.Working knowledge of semiconductor design, architecture, or R&D pathfinding environments.Experience with TCAD, physics-based modeling, and materials characterization.As a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
