Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT. We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide ergonomics-focused services in an industrial outpatient setting near Holcomb, KS. This role emphasizes injury prevention, ergonomic assessments, job task analysis, and worker education to support employee health and functional performance.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active Kansas Occupational Therapy license is required to start the assignment.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
• Experience working in industrial, manufacturing, or occupational health environments with a focus on ergonomics or workplace injury prevention.
• Proven ability to perform ergonomic assessments, fit-for-duty evaluations, and provide task-specific recommendations.
• Comfort working in a meat processing or food production facility. This assignment requires regular presence on the production floor and adherence to facility safety and hygiene protocols.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience providing services in industrial or factory settings, preferably including food processing plants.
• Certifications in ergonomics, work conditioning, or functional capacity evaluation preferred.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and providing training to supervisors and employees on injury prevention strategies.

• Location near Holcomb, KS. Candidates should be comfortable working in a meat processing facility.
• Traveler would most likely stay in Garden City, KS, which is a short drive to Holcomb.
