As an LNA, you will play a vital role in supporting residents' daily needs, ensuring their comfort, and enhancing their quality of life. Duties and Responsibilities Provides patients with personal hygiene by giving baths, bedpans, urinals, shampoos, shaving, assisting with travel to the bathroom, and helping with baths and showers. Provides care for daily activities by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary, ambulating, turning, and positioning patients. Provides fresh water and nourishment between meals. Provides care by administering enemas, douches, non-sterile dressings, surgical preps, ice packs, heat treatments, and applying restraints. Checks vital signs and weight, tests urine, records intake, and output information. Provides patient comfort by utilizing resources and materials, transporting patients, answering call lights and requests, and reporting observations to the nursing supervisor. Document items by completing forms, reports, logs, and records. Maintains work operations by following procedures and policies. Maintains patient information as confidential. Adheres to professional standards, hospital policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements, and Joint Commission standards. Updates job knowledge by taking part in educational opportunities and maintaining licensure. Maintains proper body mechanics when lifting items or patients. Allowed to raise only as much as can be safely handled and avoids twisting motions, lifting with the legs, and bending at the waist. Requirements Active LNA license in the state of NH. At least 6 months of experience as an LNA. A strong commitment to providing quality care and a passion for elder care. Previous experience in LTC/Assisted living facilities is a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr
