Critical Care Intensivist The Department of Anesthesiology at the Cleveland Clinic is recruiting qualified intensivists with career interests in critical care medicine. We are a multidisciplinary intensivist group and are seeking BC/BE intensivists with training in Anesthesiology, Internal Medicine and subspecialties, Emergency Medicine, Neurology, and Surgery and subspecialties. Responsibilities Work within a critical care team model comprised of residents, fellows, Acute Care Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants. Provide clinical care in the Surgical ICU, Cardiovascular ICU, and regional hospital ICUs. Engage in training and education of residents, fellows, SRNAs, and medical students; maintain a more non‑teaching, clinical focus in other settings. Treat patients ranging from routine medical/surgical cases to abdominal organ transplants, heart and lung transplants, ventricular assist device management, and maintain a robust ECMO program. Participate in a strong clinical research program complementary to both academic and non‑academic intensivist interests. Qualifications BC/BE intensivist with training in Anesthesiology, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Neurology, or Surgery. Abdominal organ transplant experience is desirable (not required). Testamur or diplomats status from the National Board of Echocardiography is desirable. Ultrasound or echo training from Chest, SCCM or a similar organization is a plus.
