Job Title: Carpenter Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to support demolition and remodeling projects, with a strong focus on taking apart and reframing walls and decks. This role involves hands-on construction work, precise carpentry, and the ability to read and follow blueprints to deliver structurally sound and high-quality results.

• Carefully take apart existing walls and decks using appropriate tools and safe work practices.
• Reframe walls and decks according to project specifications and blueprints.
• Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials to construct or repair frameworks and structures.
• Interpret and follow blueprints and construction plans to ensure accurate layout and structural integrity.
• Perform remodeling tasks as needed, including adjustments and repairs to existing structures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout each project.
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively to complete carpentry and framing tasks.
• Collaborate with other team members on-site to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
• Arrive on time for scheduled shifts and reliably complete assigned work each day.

• Hands-on carpentry experience, including demolition and reconstruction of walls and decks.
• Strong framing skills with the ability to build and reinforce structural frameworks.
• Ability to read, understand, and work from blueprints and construction plans.
• Experience in construction and remodeling environments.
• Reliability and consistent punctuality for all scheduled work.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and use tools and equipment correctly.

• Previous experience in residential or commercial remodeling projects.
• Comfort working with a variety of hand and power tools in a construction setting.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workmanship.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team.

This role is based on active construction and remodeling sites, primarily working on walls and decks. You will use standard carpentry tools and equipment, including hand tools and power tools, in a physically demanding environment that may involve standing, lifting, and working outdoors or indoors depending on the project. Work hours follow typical construction schedules, and appropriate workwear and safety gear are expected to ensure a safe and professional job site.

This is a Contract position based out of Seattle, WA.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Seattle,WA.
