We are seeking a reliable, compassionate, and dedicated CNAs, PCAs, and Caregiver to join our team in providing high-quality personal care and support to individuals in various care settings.

In this important role, you will assist clients and residents with activities of daily living, monitor their health and overall well-being, and help maintain a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment. Requirements-Applicants must meet the following requirements :

• Must be a Virginia-certified CNA OR have a PCA certificate with a minimum of two (2) years of experience .
• Must have results from a TB test completed within the past one (1) year .
• Must successfully pass all required pre-employment background checks .
• Due to the nature of the position and our company hiring standards, applicants with barrier crime convictions are not eligible for employment .
• Must be reliable, dependable, and committed to providing quality care .
• Must be available and willing to start as soon as possible .
• Must have prior experience working in an assisted living facility, nursing home, or home health environment .
• Must have knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication reminders, and vital signs monitoring .
• Must be able to safely perform and assist with ambulating and transfers assisting a stroke patient.
• Must be familiar with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
• Must demonstrate strong communication skills for effective client interaction and teamwork within healthcare settings.

Hours Needed

Regular Schedule:

Hampton Availability:

• MWTh: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Fri: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Every Other Weekend (EOW): 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM- Stroke survivor
• M-F 8a-4p- Bedbound
• Sat & Sun 10a-6p (rotating, need two caregivers)

Applicants must be able to commit to the scheduled shifts listed above.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) , including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility support.
• Assist with the care of stroke clients , including ambulating/transfers, personal care, and other appropriate care needs.
• Monitor clients' health and well-being by observing vital signs, behavior, physical condition, and changes in overall status , and report changes or concerns promptly to appropriate healthcare staff.
• Assist with medication reminders in accordance with established protocols, scope of practice, and client care plans.
• Prepare nutritious meals according to individual dietary needs and assist clients with meal consumption as needed.
• Light housekeeping includes but not limited to cleanliness and sanitation of resident rooms, client areas, and common spaces.
• Accompany client to medical appts as needed.
• Follow all required safety procedures, first aid and CPR requirements, and emergency response protocols .
• Accurately document client observations, care provided, and changes in condition in accordance with company and facility requirements.
• Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and client confidentiality at all times.
• Communicate professionally and effectively with clients, families, coworkers, supervisors, and healthcare professionals.
• Perform other caregiving duties as assigned to ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of the individuals we serve.
