We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to partner with business and technical stakeholders to understand complex business needs, discover and define requirements, and translate them into clear, actionable solutions. The ideal candidate is a strong analytical thinker who can work effectively with ambiguity, communicate confidently with stakeholders at all levels, and take ownership of outcomes from discovery through delivery.

Job Responsibilities

• Engage directly with business stakeholders to understand business problems, objectives, and desired outcomes.
• Independently elicit, analyze, define, and validate business and functional requirements.
• Investigate vague or incomplete requests by asking the right questions and identifying the underlying business need before proposing solutions.
• Analyze business processes, workflows, dependencies, constraints, and impacts to bring clarity to complex problems.
• Develop strong knowledge of assigned applications, functionality, and business processes.
• Partner closely with developers, QA, business users, and other technical teams throughout the solution lifecycle.
• Translate business needs into clear requirements and communicate them effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Build trusted relationships with business stakeholders and confidently communicate with senior leadership.
• Lead or facilitate requirements-gathering sessions, working meetings, and stakeholder discussions.
• Support production escalations and project transitions through effective analysis, communication, and problem-solving.
• Take ownership of assigned initiatives and outcomes while working independently with minimal direction.
• Progressively develop subject-matter expertise within assigned application and business areas.

Required Skills

• Strong experience as a Business Analyst with hands-on requirements elicitation and discovery experience.
• Technical background or prior experience in software development, QA, systems analysis, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience working across multiple industries or significantly different business domains.
• Experience with SQL/queries, system architecture, or technical application concepts.
• Experience working in telecommunications is a plus but not required.
• Experience progressively taking on increased responsibility or broader scope.
• Demonstrated ability to work with ambiguous, incomplete, or loosely defined requirements.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and structured problem-solving skills.
• Proven experience working directly with business stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to confidently interact with stakeholders ranging from end users to senior leadership.
• Strong understanding of business processes, requirements analysis, and solution definition.
• Ability to learn new applications, processes, and business domains quickly.
• Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and ability to work independently.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with software development, QA, and other technical teams.
• Certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, or PMI-PBA are a plus but not required or prioritized. Demonstrated analytical ability, critical thinking, stakeholder management, and communication are valued more highly than certifications.`
