Position Overview

We are on the lookout for a dedicated and skilled Ultrasound / Sonography Technician to join a thriving team of imaging specialists delivering outstanding patient care. Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations, encompassing abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Uphold patient safety and comfort during procedures, ensuring to communicate each phase with empathy and clarity
• Engage closely with radiologists and referring clinicians to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Manage operation and upkeep of imaging devices, promptly reporting any malfunctions
• Thoroughly document procedures and maintain accurate patient records within the electronic medical record system
• Keep abreast of advancements in ultrasound techniques and industry best practices

Educational Requirements

• A completed Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a similar field
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Active certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent body
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
