Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical services to clients experiencing major mental health disorders and severe emotional disturbances, evaluating their needs and developing personalized treatment plans.
• Engage actively as a team member, contributing to team meetings and collaborative initiatives to advance our organizational goals and improve the overall quality of care.
• Maintain a respectful and inclusive environment, adeptly communicating with clients from diverse backgrounds, respecting their cultural traditions, beliefs, and interpersonal dynamics.
• Navigate effectively within the organizational structure and the external systems of care that interface with our detox center, ensuring holistic support for our clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on clients within our detox center who are dealing with complex mental health issues, often intertwined with substance use disorders. You will provide crucial assessments, treatment interventions, and crisis management tailored to individual client needs, significantly impacting their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or relevant field is required.
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) status is essential, demonstrating your ability to practice independently while adhering to clinical standards.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, allowing for effective client interactions and documentation.
• Exceptional organizational skills to manage a caseload efficiently while addressing varying client needs.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a social work capacity, particularly in settings dealing with mental health or substance use.

• A solid foundation in assessing and treating at-risk populations, including expertise in crisis intervention and management.

Compensation and Benefits
