Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg RN with BLS and ACLS certification for a day-shift position on a 21-bed post-op unit.

Details

Work on a 21-bed Medical/Surgical unit treating post-op, non-infectious patients including chest pain, CVA, and abdominal pain cases
Day shift schedule with 10-hour shifts, 4 shifts per week
Required to work every other weekend
Block scheduling may be available
Floating required within scope to similar units
No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

Active IL RN license required
Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA) required
Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience required
Cerner EMR experience strongly preferred
2 professional references from similar experience (1-2 years) required

Additional Information

Provide nursing care for post-op and non-infectious medical patients
Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility with no exceptions
Requested time off must be submitted upfront for consideration
