Midnight Shift

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Med Tech to join our healthcare team for the midnight shift. This role is integral to providing exceptional care and support to our patients during overnight hours. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to quality patient care and the ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of nursing staff, including assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, and report any changes to the nursing team.
- Assist with patient mobility, transferring, and repositioning to ensure comfort and prevent bedsores.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to established safety and infection control protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families, offering emotional support and reassurance during overnight hours.
- Document patient information and care provided accurately in electronic health records.
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and alarms to address patient needs in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the care team to implement patient care plans and ensure continuity of care.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Active certification a Med Tech certification in the state of employment.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in a long-term care facility or hospital, preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations and adapt to changing work demands.
- Understanding of patient care and nursing principles.
- Physical stamina and strength to assist patients with mobility and personal hygiene tasks.
- Willingness to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
