Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg - $1,800 per week

Job Summary

Experienced Medical Surgical RN needed for an 8-week EPIC Conversion assignment in a fast-paced acute care setting. The ideal candidate must have recent Epic experience, prior Cerner experience, and strong cardiac support device knowledge including Balloon Pump and Impella management. This role requires flexibility, strong clinical skills, and the ability to work efficiently during a major EMR transition.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for Medical Surgical patients
• Monitor and manage patients requiring Balloon Pump and Impella support
• Accurately document patient care using Epic and Cerner systems
• Support workflow and patient care during EPIC conversion
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Maintain patient safety and follow hospital protocols and standards

Requirements

• Active California RN License required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Balloon Pump experience required
• Impella experience required
• Minimum 6 months of Epic experience within the last 12 months
• Cerner experience required
• Must be proficient with both Epic and Cerner EMR systems
