As a Security Guard Full Time Access Patrol in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed Security Officer at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with customers, employees, and visitors while supporting a welcoming environment. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Tue: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Wed: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Thur: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Fri: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail and mall locations, including sales floors, common areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter locations. Observe and report unusual activity, potential hazards, policy violations, and suspicious behavior to the appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and escalating concerns as needed. Assist with access control, customer and visitor inquiries, and incident documentation while helping to deter theft, unauthorized activity, and disruptions. Minimum Requirements: At least six months of security-related experience is required. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control/badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
