Safran Cabin – IT / CADD Business Analyst Position Summary: An IT / CADD Business Analyst acts as a critical liaison between IT/CADD technical teams, design users, and business stakeholders within Northwest Aerospace Technologies (NAT). The role focuses on aligning technology solutions, especially Autodesk and related CADD systems, with organizational objectives, optimizing processes, and driving continuous improvement in engineering and design environments. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with engineering, design, and business teams to gather, document, and analyze business requirements and current challenges related to CADD & IT systems. Research, evaluate, and recommend enhancements to Autodesk and related tools to improve efficiency, automation, and seamless integration. Assist IT/CADD administrators with system configuration, license management, user setup, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting. Identify opportunities for standardization and automation of design and data‑management workflows; implement scripts, templates, or macros. Develop user documentation, deliver training, and lead change management initiatives for new systems, upgrades, or process changes. Act as a translator between technical and non‑technical groups, facilitating meetings, addressing concerns, and ensuring proper capture and implementation of requirements. Gather and analyze usage data from CADD systems to provide insights, track KPIs, and support data‑driven decision making. Support preparation and execution of software testing and implementation of ERP/PLM and other business systems; advise key users. Support development of information systems plans and harmonization of business applications. Serve as the point of contact for business questions regarding system and reporting changes. Advise business use of reporting and business intelligence tools. Ensure project and change delivery is on‑time, within budget, and meets quality standards. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Management Information Systems or related field, or a combination of education and relevant experience. Minimum 5 years of business applications experience with a solid understanding of business processes. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Experience with ERP/PLM systems and Autodesk products (Inventor, AutoCAD Mechanical, Vault, Fusion Manage). Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to build and maintain effective relationships. Skilled in capturing and documenting business and technical requirements. Strong process analysis and workflow optimization capabilities. Self‑motivated and adaptable to changing technology landscapes. Working Conditions Fluent English communication required. Travel may be required. Protracted or irregular hours may be required.
