We are committed to providing you with:An exceptional benefit plan for eligible associates & your family members401K matching program for eligible associatesDiscounts with our Crescent managed properties in North America for you & your family membersMarriott Hotels Discounts WorldwideFree MealsHere is what you will be doing each day:As a Banquet Houseperson, you will be responsible for manual set up, break down, and service all meeting rooms in accordance with Crescent high standards of quality.Communicate with supervisor throughout shift to be aware of the work.Set up all meeting rooms to the specifications of the guest. This includes considerable physical activity in transporting awkward and heavy materials such as staging, tables, chairs, dancefloors, etc., from storage area to meeting roomsSupply and replenish meeting rooms with clean glasses and fresh water.Break down all meeting rooms where meetings have concluded and return to storage closet so the room will be available to be reset for the next function.Maintain established cleaning schedule of meeting rooms and ballrooms so the rooms stay presentable at all times.Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.Does this sound like you?You have a self-starting personality with an even disposition. You can communicate well with guests. You are willing to "pitch-in" and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player. Can withstand prolonged periods of standing and/or walking. Can lift at least 50 lbs.
