Job Description

A-Line Staffing is now hiring Pharmacy Technician 2in Mechanicsville, VA . The Pharmacy Technician 2would be working for a Fortune 500 company (Walgreens)and has career growth potential. This would be full time / 40+ hours per week .

Pharmacy Technician 2 Compensation

· The pay for this position is $16.50/hr (trainee)or $17.50/hr (licensed)

· Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment

· A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Pharmacy Technician 2 Highlights

· This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs

· The required availability for this position is Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday — 5:00 AM to 3:00 PM (on-site)

Pharmacy Technician 2 Responsibilities

Process prescription exceptions (including claim rejects, member outreach, and physician outreach)
Enter member demographics and prescription information into the system
Research and resolve rejected insurance billing issues and/or escalated member issues
Escalate prescription questions to a pharmacist for interpretation and direction
Assist with inbound and/or outbound patient/physician calls
Other duties as assigned

Pharmacy Technician 2 Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
2–4 years of Pharmacy Technician experience
Current Pharmacy Registration and Certification or Trainee license as required by the state of operation
Basic computer skills
Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days

Pharmacy Technician 2 Preferred Qualifications

Experience resolving claim rejects / insurance billing issues
Experience with patient/physician phone support (inbound/outbound)
