Travelling Construction Superintendent

job summary:
We have a client who is an elite commercial general contractor specializing in ground up retail, grocery, big box and automotive builds nationwide seeking a Travelling Superintendent. In this role, you'll take total ownership of the field coordinating subcontractors, driving tight schedules, and enforcing strict safety. If you want to build major commercial spaces with a team that backs your autonomy, join us. This position requires willingness to travel as projects can be anywhere in the US. This position offers a company truck or vehicle allowance, per diem, bonuses, etc.

responsibilities:

• 5+ years supervising all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to safety standards, design plans, quality and project timelines

• Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and other project personnel

• Implement and enforce all safety regulations, including OSHA standards

• 5+ years leading ground up commercial projects such as large box retail, car dealerships, gas stations, warehouses

• Communicate effectively with project managers, stakeholders, and trades
