Government Contracts (Compliance) Associate Attorney

Government Contracts Associate – Washington, D.C. The role focuses on advising clients on a broad range of government contracts matters, including compliance, risk assessments, supply chain issues, investigations, and mandatory and voluntary disclosures. The associate will conduct legal research and analysis involving federal procurement laws and regulations, draft memoranda, analyses, disclosures, and other client-facing work product, and counsel clients on complex regulatory and contractual issues. Responsibilities Advising clients across the government contracts lifecycle. Conducting legal research and analysis involving federal procurement laws and regulations. Drafting memoranda, analyses, disclosures, and other client-facing work product. Counseling clients on complex regulatory and contractual issues, internal reviews, investigations, compliance and performance risks, and disclosure obligations. Interacting directly with clients and key government stakeholders. Collaborating with partners and colleagues on sophisticated matters and contributing strategically to client service and matter development. Qualifications 3–5 years of law firm experience in government contracts law. Significant experience advising clients on government contracts matters with emphasis on compliance, risk assessment, supply chain issues, investigations, and disclosures. Excellent academic and professional credentials. Highly developed analytical, communication, and writing skills.Passion for excellent client service. Member of the D.C. Bar or eligible to waive in. Benefits and Compensation Competitive base salary ranging from $250,000 to $320,000. Discretionary bonus potential.
