At Sunrise, our Dietary Supervisor is responsible for providing leadership and direct services for the Skilled Nursing Center's dining operations. The Dietary Supervisor is a hands-on leader in day to day operations directly supervising and assisting the Skilled Nursing Center's dietary services team.

RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS

Responsibilities:

• Maintains resident focus business decorum at all times
• Oversees the dining room flow, tray delivery service flow
• Balances the serving responsibilities among the dietary staff
• Handling all foods in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards and complies with all federal, state and local regulatory procedures regarding food service

Qualifications:

• High School diploma required or GED required; Associates degree preferred
• One (1) year experience in skilled nursing dining and/or long term care, assisted living or hospital dining
• Supervisory/management experience preferred which may include supervising and responsibility of shift/daily operations
• Maintains current Food Services Sanitation certificate
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication
• Ability to read and follow instructions to meet the dietary needs of the residents
• Competent in organizational, time management skills
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills
• Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) with the ability to learn new applications
