School Speech and Language Pathologist | Easton, Maryland

With a 37.5-hour workweek and structured hours (starting between 7-7:30 am and ending between 2:30-3 pm), you'll find a healthy work-life balance while engaging in meaningful work each day.


Qualifications and Experience:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• State licensure to practice as an SLP
• Prior experience supporting school-aged students with individualized speech and language needs
• Proficiency in providing comprehensive assessment, intervention, and collaborative services
• Knowledge of both school-based protocols and healthcare best practices in service delivery
• Experience designing, developing, and implementing IEPs
• Strong communication, consultation, and recordkeeping skills
• Comfort working onsite (teletherapy is not included)

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored speech and language therapy to meet each student's unique needs
• Guide and consult with teachers to identify, observe, and refer students with communication challenges
• Perform thorough assessments and regular screenings at all required levels
• Develop and update individualized intervention programs
• Collaborate with teachers and colleagues to adapt and modify instruction as needed
• Serve as a resource for families and provide inservice training to staff members
• Maintain detailed documentation and adhere to all relevant protocols and laws
• Create and manage IEPs in compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines
• Step in for additional duties supporting the school community as assigned
