Key responsibilities of the RN Stepdown Travel include:

• Provide direct patient care and monitor patient status in the Tele Intermediate unit
• Administer medications, including Cardizem, Lasix, renal dopamine, and nitro
• Collaborate with hospitalists and ensure continuity of care
• Perform assessments for patients with CHF, COVID pneumonia, and other common diagnoses
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the EPIC charting system

Requirements of the RN Stepdown Travel include:

• Active IL RN license or confirmation that application process has been initiated
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS (AHA)
• Experience working in acute care and a stepdown environment
