Service & Support Technician

Hurco Companies Inc

Milltronics USA is looking for a Field Service & Support Technician based out of our Indianapolis, Indiana facility. The Field Service & Support Technician will provide high quality machine start up, demonstration, maintenance, repair services, and remote support in a manner which will encourage customers to purchase or recommend the purchase of Milltronics products, accessories, and services. When not traveling to customer locations the Field Service & Support Technician will provide phone assistance. Travel is required for this position. You will be home almost all weekends.

Responsibilities

Perform installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of CNC machine tools (Mill, Lathe, and Controller) at customer's facility - up to 50% of time.
Phone support expected when not traveling or on site.
Interfacing with distributor partners and customers
Detailed reporting of activities
Participation in shows, training and product demonstrations may be required

Requirements

3-5 year's of experience servicing industrial equipment, preferred
Knowledge of troubleshooting and maintenance of industrial automation equipment
Self-starter with the ability to work independently
Should possess good verbal, written, and digital communication skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
