About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to join their team. The CNO will be a key executive leader, responsible for the planning, organization, and direction of all nursing and patient care services within the hospital. This role is pivotal in ensuring nursing practice standards, regulatory compliance, quality improvement, and patient safety. The successful candidate will lead and oversee all nursing operations, develop and maintain nursing policies, and drive quality initiatives. They will also be involved in departmental budgeting, staffing strategy, and will serve as a clinical and operational resource for the nursing staff. Applicants for the CNO position at the company must be a current Texas Registered Nurse (RN) with a minimum of 5 years' professional nursing experience, including leadership in nursing management or hospital operations. A Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred, and a Master's degree or higher is a plus. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of nursing practice, regulatory compliance, quality improvement, and patient safety, and will be certified in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC, or have the ability to obtain these certifications within six months. The role requires a leader who is passionate about rural healthcare, patient-centered care, and nursing leadership, and who can build strong relationships with the medical staff, administration, and the community.
