Who You Are Metropolis is seeking a Benefits Specialist to support day‑to‑day benefits and leave of absence. This includes employee support on health and welfare benefits enrollment and leave process. This role requires training across benefits and leave functions to ensure accurate administration, thorough documentation, and consistent system alignment. What You’ll Do Assist with leave administration processes, including preparing and submitting standard leave documents. Comply with and evaluate eligibility for various leave types, including ADA, FMLA, State, and Company Leaves. Administer benefits processes, including timely processing of enrollments, changes, and terminations, and preparing or submitting required documents. Verify employee documentation for benefits and leaves. Manage benefits and leave inboxes, providing prompt and professional responses. Reconcile vendor reports and contribution files to ensure data accuracy. Maintain alignment and updates across all HRIS, vendor, and tracking systems for benefit and leave transactions. Support the implementation of new processes and continuous improvement initiatives. Generate and audit reports to validate employee data and benefit deductions. What We’re Looking For Proficiency using Microsoft Suite (e.g., Excel, Word) and Google Workspace (e.g., Gmail, Docs). Familiarity with HRIS systems and reporting systems preferred. Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information in a professional manner. Strong attention to detail and customer‑service skills in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment. Ability to multitask and prioritize daily, weekly, and monthly tasks. 4 Days in Office Metropolis values in‑person collaboration to drive innovation, strengthen culture, and enhance the Member experience. Our corporate team members hold to an office‑first model, which requires employees to be on‑site at least four days a week, fostering organic interactions that spark creativity and connection. Compensation The anticipated base pay for this position is $24.00 to $29.00 USD hourly. Total compensation may also include healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, short‑term and long‑term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a lucrative stock option plan, bonus plans, and more, depending on qualifications, experience, skills, education, and location.
