Job Opportunity – X-Ray Technologist – Lubbock, TX 79410

Start Date: October 26, 2026

Location: Lubbock, Texas

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (08:00 - 16:00), 40 hours per week. No on-call or weekend requirements. Assignment duration is 13 weeks.

Highlights:

• Work at a 379-bed short-term acute care facility with Level II Trauma Center designation
• Perform routine and complex X-ray exams and assist with fluoroscopy procedures in a fast-paced environment
• Image up to 30 patients per day across various age groups from neonates to older adults
• Float between units as needed to support facility operations
• Free employee parking available on-site
• First-time travelers accepted with valid Texas license in hand

Requirements:

• Valid Texas state license or Compact license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• ARRT (R) certification required
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of X-ray technologist experience
• Experience working independently in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Proficiency with PACS and electronic charting systems
• Strong patient care and communication skills
• Ability to perform bedside/portable procedures, C-Arm procedures, and work with isolation precautions/PPE
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
