Title: Sr. Linux & Storage Backup Engineer

Location: Cary, NC (Onsite)

We are looking for a Senior Linux & Storage & Backup Engineer with strong experience in enterprise infrastructure, backup solutions, and Dell EMC Data Domain .

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and troubleshoot Linux servers in enterprise environments.
• Administer storage infrastructure, including capacity, performance, and availability.
• Manage enterprise backup and recovery operations.
• Hands-on experience with Data Domain and enterprise backup solutions.
• Monitor backup jobs, troubleshoot failures, and ensure backup/recovery SLAs.
• Perform incident, problem, and change management activities.
• Support disaster recovery, backup policies, and data protection initiatives.

Required Skills

• Strong Linux administration skills (RHEL/CentOS/Oracle Linux).
• Experience with enterprise storage technologies such as SAN/NAS.
• Hands-on experience with Dell EMC Data Domain .
• Experience with enterprise backup tools such as Veritas NetBackup, Commvault, or similar .
• Knowledge of backup, restore, replication, and disaster recovery.
• Good troubleshooting and communication skills.

Relevant experience in Linux, Storage, and Enterprise Backup environments.
