Analytical Chemist I

Analytical Chemist I will perform routine analytical testing for pharmaceutical products at a Greenville, North Carolina manufacturing facility. The role involves chromatographic and spectrophotometric analyses, data management, and adherence to quality and regulatory standards in a Monday-Friday, on-site position.

Responsibilities

Perform routine analytical testing including assays, dissolution, moisture, and identification analyses
Maintain data integrity and proper documentation practices for all experimental work
Compare laboratory results against specifications and identify trends to verify compliance
Manage calibration standards and ensure proper care of reference materials and instrumentation
Enter analytical data into established reports and software systems

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in science-related discipline (Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences) or equivalent
Associate degree in Chemistry or Biotechnology with one year pharmaceutical analytical chemistry experience
Proficiency in chromatography methods and data review techniques
Ability to lift 10-50 lbs unassisted and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, reaching
Experience with HPLC, GC, titrations, UV, and IR analytical methods
