A day in the shop

Step into our LaGrange, GA, 30240 facility and start your day evaluating customer equipment—lawn mowers that won’t start, chainsaws that bog down, generators with erratic output. You’ll triage units, diagnose issues, and map out the best repair path. After repairs and routine services, you’ll document your work clearly and walk customers through what you did and why. Before close, you’ll tidy your bench, restock, and review the latest repair techniques and trends to stay sharp.

Core responsibilities

• Pinpoint and resolve performance problems on small engines across mowers, chainsaws, generators, and similar outdoor power equipment.
• Complete scheduled maintenance and inspections to keep engines running at peak efficiency.
• Record services performed and parts used with accuracy and clarity.
• Explain diagnostics, repairs, and recommendations to customers in plain language.
• Maintain a safe, clean, well-organized work area at all times.
• Stay current with evolving repair methods and industry developments.

What you bring

• High school diploma or equivalent; formal small engine training is a plus.
• Hands-on experience repairing small engines or similar mechanical systems.
• Sharp troubleshooting ability and strong attention to detail.
• Comfort working independently and collaborating with a team.
• Clear communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
• Basic small engine repair tools and equipment.
