- Excellent clinical, organizational, and communication skills in settings with seniors, their families, and interdisciplinary team members.

Description:
The Physical Therapist Assistant is responsible for assisting with performing tests and providing restorative and rehabilitative Physical Therapy services to participants.
This position aims to maximize participant independence and safety and develop or restore function.
The Physical Therapist Assistant will work with other members of the rehabilitation team to implement the plan of care established by the physical therapist.
The role includes administering participant treatment programs as established by the Physical Therapist.
You will assist the Physical Therapist in obtaining vital signs, range of motion, and strength testing.
Additionally, you will coordinate with the rehabilitation team to implement activities and programs based on individual treatment plans.
Responsibilities also include scheduling participants' treatment, clinical visits, and documentation of Physical Therapy interventions.
The Physical Therapist Assistant will provide training and instructions to staff, participants, and caregivers in the use and care of therapeutic equipment.
This role requires remaining alert to input from team members and updating the Physical Therapist on any changes in participants' conditions or functional status.
Participation in end-of-life care coordination and support under the supervision of the Physical Therapist is also part of this role.
You must complete all required documentation promptly and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
Following established policies and procedures, participation in Quality Improvement activities, staff training, and meetings is expected.
This position also requires effective communication with supervisors and team members regarding workload and priorities.
Flexibility in performing assignments as business needs evolve is essential.
Other duties may be assigned as needed.
