Job Summary

We are looking for a physically fit and dependable Civil Laborer to join our construction team. In this entry-to-mid-level role, you will perform essential physical tasks to support heavy civil projects, including earthwork, utilities, and site preparation. You will operate hand and power tools, assist equipment operators, and help maintain a clean, hazard-free job site.

• Site Preparation: Dig trenches, clear brush, shovel dirt, and compact earth to prepare the ground for grading and utility installation.
• Material Handling: Load, unload, and move construction materials, tools, and pipes around the active job site.
• Tool & Equipment Operation: Safely operate hand and power tools, including jackhammers, tamping machines, concrete saws, and mowers.
• Operator Assistance: Signal heavy equipment operators (excavators, dozers) to guide movement and ensure precision work.
• Safety & Maintenance: Adhere to all OSHA safety rules, wear required PPE, and clean up debris to keep the job site safe and organized.
Required Qualifications
• Experience: Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or outdoor manual labor is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, kneel, and lift up to 5070 lbs regularly throughout a shift.
• Environmental Adaptability: Able to work long hours outdoors under diverse weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).
• Transportation: Reliable transportation to get to and from various job site locations.
• Reliability: Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a commitment to working safely every day.
Key Skills & Competencies
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of or willingness to learn construction safety standards.
