Travel Speech Language Pathologist - $2,015 per week

Job Overview TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a travel job in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Specialty: Speech Language Pathologist Discipline: Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Hours per week: 36 hours Shift: 12 hours per day Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities Assist patients with speech, voice, or swallowing impairments and evaluate and develop a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting. Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Create treatment and therapy plans to suit the individualized needs of a diverse population of patients. Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders. Educate patients and family members about speech disorders and causes, including disabilities and traumatic events. Report progress and current status to appropriate parties, which may include family members, teachers, or medical professionals. Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines. Qualifications Minimum 6 months of experience (1 year preferred; new graduates encouraged). Must be BLS certified and hold ASHA‑SLP National Certification with state‑specific licensing. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for long periods of time. Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
