About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President, Corporate Communications to spearhead the development and expansion of its corporate communications practice. This senior leadership role is pivotal in shaping and delivering high-impact communication programs, particularly within the healthcare sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and leading the corporate communications offering, partnering with agency leadership to define and scale the practice, and serving as a trusted advisor to clients. Key responsibilities include establishing best practices, contributing to agency growth, and leading the development of corporate communication strategies and PR campaigns. The role demands a hands-on approach, with the VP expected to be a player-coach, actively involved in all aspects of the work, from strategy to execution. Applicants for the Vice President, Corporate Communications position at the company should have a minimum of 7 years' experience in corporate communications, public relations, or corporate affairs, with a focus on healthcare, biotech, or pharmaceutical sectors. The role requires a proven track record in developing and executing corporate communication strategies and PR campaigns, as well as experience in client advisory roles. Core skills include corporate narrative development, exceptional writing, strategic thinking, and strong interpersonal abilities. The ideal candidate will have a background in oncology and/or patient advocacy communications, experience with biotech companies at various stages, and exposure to corporate positioning tied to clinical development milestones.
