Qualifications and Experience:

• Current and valid credentials as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Licensure in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain)
• Proven experience in hospital or clinical settings preferred
• Proficiency with a wide range of respiratory therapy techniques-including ventilator management, aerosol therapy, and arterial blood gas analysis
• Strong knowledge of infection control and patient safety protocols
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• BLS/ACLS certification required

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and deliver respiratory care to patients based on physician orders
• Administer and monitor therapeutic interventions such as oxygen therapy, mechanical ventilation, and airway management
• Perform diagnostic respiratory procedures and interpret clinical data
• Educate patients and their families on respiratory treatments and self-care practices
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatments and patient progress
• Adhere to departmental policies, infection control standards, and safety regulations
