This isn’t just a job, it’s a chance to lead innovation, engineer impact, and build a legacy of excellence.In the role of Electrical Business Class Leader, we'll count on you to:Take responsibility for operations of the electrical business class including staff development, profitability, morale, quality control and marketing supportTake administrative responsibility for business class staff and technical service functions, and lead and coordinate services with other business classesBe involved in marketing planning, proposals and interviewsBe directly involved with industrial and public clients in marketing, project production and related issuesSee that all work is planned, organized, controlled and evaluated through proactive project management systemImplement, monitor and support company policySelect, train, develop and manage technical personnelWork cooperatively with National Directors and marketing staff in local and national marketing and production effortsTake responsibility for area coordination, monitoring and improvement of technical competencies of business class staff and products to meet client needs and market drivers, all within direction and goals of business class plansParticipate in delivery of project services to meet client expectationsCollaborate on business class efforts with area operations, marketing and project managementParticipate in business class practice and professional discipline groups, project teams and activities to continually improve standards and best practices, and implement effective quality assurance and quality control reviewsParticipate in business class strategic planning, budgeting and plan implementationPerform other duties as neededPreferred QualificationsActively engaged in professional or industry associations to enhance HDR technical expertise and brandExperience mentoring junior staffExcellent leadership, organizational skills, and presentation skillsPreference given to local candidates#LI-MV3QualificationsRequired Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field 10 years of experience Committed to quality, improvement and HDR valuesMaintains a professional or engineering registration and has related technical experienceExperienced in development and management of diverse teamsWorks cooperatively with other area business class leaders, operations managers, technical directors and marketing managers on business class efforts An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must What We BelieveHDR is our company.
