AVP, ETFs & Capital Markets Strategy | Investment Products

Job Overview The Investment Products team within LPL’s Investment Management Solutions (IMS) group is responsible for delivering a highly competitive set of investment solutions across LPL’s brokerage and advisory platforms. This role requires deep experience with ETFs and capital markets, strong partnership skills with other teams, and the ability to operate independently on projects and handle advisor escalations. The candidate must also maintain industry connectivity to stay ahead of market trends. Responsibilities Drive the evolution, management, and marketing of ETF and capital market products, focusing on market research, financial analysis, and development of client‑facing materials. Lead continual platform enhancements, expand the product menu, and prioritize the product pipeline to support revenue growth and acquisitions. Collaborate cross‑functionally with Research, Legal, Compliance, Operations, Marketing/Communication, Technology, and Sales/Business Development teams to create superior client outcomes. Analyze market trends, investor demand, and competitive dynamics to define differentiated investment themes and create compelling product narratives. Explore new investment structures and opportunities to drive strategic product expansion. Manage product sourcing, intake, and prioritization; identify and close platform gaps; ensure alignment with emerging advisor and investor needs. Engage assets managers to curate and maintain a best‑in‑class product shelf aligned with firm objectives. Provide education and marketing support to advisors, including white papers, pitch decks, fact sheets, and execution of marketing campaigns and roadshows. Prepare executive‑level presentations and distill complex topics into clear recommendations for senior leadership. Act as a point of escalation to resolve complex product selling or servicing issues and remove workflow frictions. Influence industry and firm‑level support for new product innovation and lead related roadmap initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree. Minimum of 7 years of related experience in the financial services industry. Deep understanding of investment products, industry regulations, and product trends. Excellent presentation, quantitative, and analytical skills. Experience with investment‑oriented databases and analytical software (Morningstar, FactSet, Excel). Experience in investment product management, evaluating dynamic decisions, and enhancing product offerings. Ability to lead projects in a matrix‑managed environment using strong interpersonal and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with investment product underwriting, manufacturing, and issuance. FINRA Series7/66 required; Series24 preferred. Compensation and Benefits Pay Range: $121,514–$202,524 per year. Base salary varies by skill, experience, and location.
