About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its executive team. The CFO will be a strategic financial leader, responsible for overseeing all fiscal operations and providing financial guidance to support the institution's mission of student success, research excellence, and community engagement. This role requires a collaborative leader with strong interpersonal skills, the ability to navigate the complexities of public higher education finance, and a commitment to driving innovation and operational excellence. The successful candidate will work closely with the President, the Administrative Council, and external stakeholders to ensure the financial health and growth of the institution. Candidates for the CFO position at the company should be forward-thinking, enthusiastic, and entrepreneurial, with a proven track record in organizational, analytical, financial, and communication abilities. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, with a preference for a master's degree, and at least 5 years' recent experience in public higher education or a related field. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years' experience in fiscal management, including a minimum of 5 years in an executive role. The CFO will play a key role in the company's ambitious strategic plan, and as such, the role demands a leader who can align financial strategies with the institution's goals and work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
