Preferred applicants will demonstrate a strong commitment to undergraduate and graduate teaching of clinical child and school psychology courses both in-person and online. The department seeks a strong scholar who can add to the diversity of research interests among our faculty and contribute to our collegial and student-focused department. Responsibilities will also include advising graduate students, chairing theses, supervising student research, and serving on departmental, school, and university committees. ABD candidates will be considered, but the doctorate is required by the contract start date in August2027. Evidence of, or potential for, successful undergraduate and graduate teaching, service at all levels of the university, and high-quality research is also required. Preferred Qualifications Ability to teach graduate courses in Seminar in School Psychology, Cognitive Assessment, Behavioral and Emotional Assessment, Counseling and Psychotherapy, Crisis Intervention and other graduate-level Clinical Child and School Psychology program content; actual course assignments may vary depending on departmental needs and may include Multicultural Issues in School Psychology. Ability to teach undergraduate courses in Psychological Tests & Measures, Child Psychology, Lifespan Development, Applied Behavior Analysis, Child & Adolescent Mental Health, Introduction to School Psychology, and/or Multicultural Psychology; actual course assignments may vary depending on departmental needs. Ability to teach online courses. Demonstrated interest in teaching and working with students from diverse backgrounds. Interest in engaging students in research and experiential learning.
