Tax Attorney

Overview Our client is a market leading energy business with a significant US and international asset base. Their in-house legal and tax function is well-resourced and works closely with senior leadership on complex, high-value transactions. The Opportunity A newly available Tax Attorney position within a collaborative and high-performing tax planning team. The role offers broad exposure across transactional tax matters with real visibility into the business. Key Responsibilities Advising on the tax aspects of acquisitions, dispositions, financings, restructurings and joint ventures Managing domestic and international tax planning projects alongside internal teams and outside advisors Communicating complex tax issues to senior stakeholders Drafting and negotiating tax provisions in deal documents Preparing technical tax memoranda Supporting and developing junior team members Required Qualifications 5+ years of relevant experience Admitted to a State Bar Preferred Qualifications Background from a Big 4 or top AmLaw firm Experience in M&A, international or partnership tax #J-18808-Ljbffr
