This is an opportunity to put your skills to work on projects that make a lasting impact in communities throughout the region.What We OfferFull-time, first-shift schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PMOvertime opportunities as project needs requireMedical, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off (PTO)9 paid company holidays401(k) with employer matchProfit sharingHealth Savings Account (HSA)Stable work with an experienced fabrication teamOpportunity to work on challenging structural steel projectsWhat You'll DoAs a Fitter/Fabricator, you will be responsible for preparing, fitting, and fabricating structural steel components according to drawings, specifications, and established quality standards.Your responsibilities will include:Fit and fabricate structural steel components from shop drawings and specificationsRead and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and weld symbolsPerform layout, measuring, cutting, fitting, and weldingFollow Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and established quality requirementsOperate fabrication equipment safely and efficientlyInspect work for accuracy, quality, and proper fit-upMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaWork as part of a team to meet production and project schedulesWhat We're Looking For2+ years of structural steel fabrication experience preferredAbility to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and weld symbolsStrong understanding of structural steel fitting and fabrication processesExperience with welding processes such as SMAW, FCAW, GMAW, and GTAW preferredWorking knowledge of Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS)Familiarity with AWS D1.1 Structural Welding Code – Steel preferredExperience with AWS D1.5 Bridge Welding Code is a plusAbility to successfully complete welder qualification testing in multiple positionsExperience operating fabrication equipment such as:Press brakesShearsIronworkersDrill presses and magnetic drillsOxyfuel and plasma cutting equipmentStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualitySafety-minded approach to all workHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredTechnical or trade school training is a plusExperience working in an AISC, AWS, ASME, or API-certified fabrication environment is preferred.A Typical WorkdayThe standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM.
